  先看一篇道歉信~

  要求:You are the secretary of a computer hardware company. Write an email to Mr Gatt one of your customers, to apologise for the inconvenience created because he has not received an order. Mr Gatt’s email address is [email protected] . You should write between 60 and 80 words .

  To: [email protected]

  Subject: Missing Order

  Dear Mr Gatt,

  I am sorry to hear about the problems you have been experiencing with the order you placed with us on the 23rd January.[1] I cannot as yet say who is at fault but I assure you there will be a full investigation.[2] Moyra Brown, who is our production assistant, will contact you shortly to arrange suitable compensation for the inconvenience that has been caused.[3]

  I would like to apologise once more.[4]

  [0]这篇道歉信比较短,不知道日常生活中的道歉信是否也这么短。或许是因为对方本来就可能比较生气了,再发一篇长篇大论可能对方也不想看,对方其实就像知道问题怎么解决,后果谁承担。因此这篇邮件的逻辑基本也是按照这一顺序。

  [1]开头道歉。[2]然后可能会讲述问题原因,或者将解决方案先讲完,再解释原因(如果比较长)。

  [3]解决办法,越细越好,落实到人头和时间。这里用的shortly,或许发完邮件当天就会着手处理,但如果解决的时间比较长一些,或许应写明大约需要多少时间。

  [4]最后再次道歉。
